Loved it! I was raised in an Italian family, so I'm naturally critical of "Italian" restaurant food. Dante serves up authentic dishes with simple prep, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

If I could give 6 stars I would. This was an absolutely wonderful experience all the way around. They couldn't have done anything better! The staff(my server was amazing, friendly and so friendly), the chef (God bless you for what you do with food), the food and the ambiance were perfect in my opinion. This is the best dining experience I have ever had in my life so far. How do I say enough about the food?! The Pumpkin ravioli was absolutely delicious, the Halibut was moist and flakey and Tiramisu that literally brought tears to my eyes. Thank you to everyone working there. I cant imagine having a better experience anywhere...you have set a very high bar of measurement.

A gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh and the ambiance on the patio was so special. We had a great spring date night here. The salads, crab tower and pappardelle were all exceptional. We will be back!

We enjoyed a delightful Date Night dinner. Following recommendations from the online reviews, we ordered the bacon wrapped scallops in lobster sauce, which did not disappoint. I also enjoyed the crepe lasagna, which was a substantial portion. So filling, I only ate half there and finished the other half the next day. So good. The bread basket was delicious to go with a nice wine selection. Too full for dessert, we topped off with a nightcap of Lemonchello. Service was wonderful. Thank you, Eddie! Space is cozy/tight, but we were comfortable in a back corner, which felt a little more intimate. There were so many great menu choices that I can't wait to go back again for more.

This our family’s most favorite Italian restaurant in the DC area. We love to celebrate our special days at this place. The table attendants are very attentive. The owner is very humble and nice and we can tell he is so dedicated with a commitment to the finest in Italian traditions and want every customer is happy with their dining experiences. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Dante's Ristorante. The food was nourishing, healthy and delicious. The staff is amiable and very polite. The chef is very kind as well. Just looking at the menu and restaurant, you can tell there is lots of passion in all aspects in regards to the experience and history associated with both the food as well as the location. The restaurant itself is a beautifully preserved historical home, with lots of local history and significance. It really adds charm and a uniqueness to the experience. I have dined here many times and will continue to recommend Dante's Ristorante to others.
